When my daughter turned two she was absolutely obsessed with balls and balloons, so what better birthday than a hot air balloon birthday party.
I learned my lesson from her first birthday and toned it down for this party. I had a local bakery do a simple cake with balloons on it and then cupcakes made to look like a bouquet of balloons. I also had some shortbread cookies made shaped liked balloons for some thank you treats for the kids. And for the take home goodies I did bubbles, chalk and reusable cups. It’s always nice to have a thank you gift that the kids can use and be slightly practical but yet have all the kids enjoy it !
